How does membership in PRSA assisted you?
When I finished college and moved to Alaska, I didn’t know anyone. The first thing I did was join PRSA, looking for connections to help with my search for a job to start my career. I was immediately greeted with a trusted network of PR professionals and connections that have proved to be invaluable.
Finding a network when I had none, and all the professional development and member benefits that followed is what I like best about PRSA.
Thoughts on PRSA Alaska Volunteering
I have explored a few volunteer positions over the last couple of years. Volunteering is a great way to form deeper connections with other members and I encourage everyone to explore volunteer positions on different committees to find something you really enjoy. There really is something for everyone!
