Taking the mystery out of new media

Oct 23, 2018 | Anchorage Luncheon, Event

The media landscape has changed dramatically in recent years. It’s no longer just traditional journalists pumping out information; talk show hosts, bloggers, and a variety of others with a computer are dishing out all kinds of “news.” Public relations professionals now have more options than ever for getting out facts and stories, but understanding the players is key to finding the right platform for your messages. Our November luncheon features a panel of content creators who will share how they determine what to cover, ethical choices they have to make, and what makes news in 2018. Panelists will include:

Lauren Maxwell, reporter at KTVA, Channel 11 News

Dave Stieren, Host of “The Dave Stieren Radio Show” on KFQD

Jeff Landfield, blogger at The Alaska Landmine
