The Salvation Army’s Community Relations and Development Department (CRDD) is seeking an experienced, clear, and persuasive communicator in speech and writing, capable of translating The Salvation Army’s programs and community needs into compelling narratives for foundations solicitation. The Grant Officer (GO) will perform a vital role in handling a significant portion of the grant writing workload entailed in the pursuit of pre-existing grant opportunities and assisting the Director of Philanthropy in developing strong concepts for the solicitation of new opportunities. The GO will work under direct supervision of the Director of Philanthropy and alongside Corps Officers, Program Managers, CRDD, and Finance personnel in collective endeavors to reach Development Department funding targets.
