The College of Arts and Sciences Social Media/Communication Specialist provides high-level communications and administrative support to the Dean, faculty, and staff. This involves drafting and reviewing documents, and working with various constituents on campus and in the community. The Social Media/Communication Specialist will actively contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive, strategic marketing and communication plans designed to effectively publicize programs, faculty (teaching, research and service), staff, and student success, using a variety of communication mediums. This position is primarily responsible for copywriting, executing, and measuring the effectiveness of marketing communications that present information to internal and external audiences, supporting the Dean’s advancement responsibilities, and coordinating College’s events and programs.
