PRSA College of Fellows SAGE Award Seeks Remarkable, Inspiring, Extraordinary Mentors

The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) College of Fellows is accepting nominations for the 2019 SAGE Award, which recognizes a Fellow who rises above and beyond mentoring and developing up-and-coming leaders in the public relations profession.

Mentoring is considered the calling card of the College of Fellows. The SAGE Award marks an individual who truly acts as catalyst in this capacity, sharing wisdom, expertise and experience that helps to guide an individual or group to aspire higher and advance their career.  Most notably, the SAGE Award identifies a member of the College who has provided a measurable outcome or significant, life-changing impact on a mentee – specifically new professionals or PRSSA members.

“Mentoring future leaders with a commitment to serve is the cornerstone of the College of Fellows,” says 2019 College of Fellows Chair, Geri Evans, APR, Fellow PRSA.

“Those who develop and foster ideas among passionate young leaders create a powerful and positive impact on our profession. SAGE Award recipients represent the best of the College of Fellows, those who give of themselves so that others may grow and succeed.”

The SAGE Award is exclusive to the College of Fellows, with nominations accepted from professionals and students who have benefitted from mentoring by a College of Fellows member.
