Education:

Master’s degree in strategic communications from Seton Hall University (New Jersey) and a bachelor’s degree in communications from Trinity Washington University) (Washington, DC).

How does membership in PRSA assist you?

The best part of PRSA membership for me is networking and learning from my peers. It’s great to have other PR professionals I can reach out to when looking for new ways to approach challenges. And like many others in the field, my department is really small so it’s good to have people to collaborate with who understand our field.

Have you volunteered, or are you currently volunteering, in support of the Alaska Chapter?

I have volunteered twice as a judge for PRSA awards. I really enjoy (and learn from) seeing the entries from our sister chapters.
