This Public Health Specialist I will work within the Division of Public Health, Section of Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion. The specialist will coordinate, execute and oversee evaluation of public health communication and social marketing projects related to chronic disease and injury prevention, COVID-19, and the association between ongoing chronic diseases and increased chances for serious COVID-19 illness. The specialist’s work supports COVID-19 communications and public education through development and oversight of communication materials of all kinds, including print materials, websites, department blogs, online and social media messages, public service announcements and more.
