Reporting to the APD Director of Community Relations. The Associate Director of Community Relations, as a member of the Community Relations Unit, will work collaboratively with the department to develop, implement, and manage communication and out reach strategies/programs that enhance and maintain the positive relationship between the Anchorage Police Department and the community. The Associate Director will specifically be responsible for managing and developing APD’s social media platforms. Perform spokesperson duties and other related duties as assigned.
