The PRSA Alaska Chapter seeks speaker proposals for 2017 theme, “The Ethics Imperative.”   

Are you ready to put your knowledge, experience, and best campaigns on the Alaska stage? Advance your professional development and enlighten your colleagues by answering the Call for Presentations for PRSA Alaska Chapter’s annual Communicators Exchange (CommEx) conference, September 14-15, 2017, in Anchorage.

The CommEx theme for 2017 is “The Ethics Imperative.” The agenda is split into two tracks, strategy and tactics, with three areas of emphasis: corporate, agency and nonprofit PR. Some presentations will overlap into one or more areas of emphasis.

Submissions should include:

  • Presentation title
  • Which track(s) the presentation best represents
  • Description of the presentation (250-word limit)
  • Type of presentation: Lecture/discussion, case study, panel
  • Presentation category. Choose from one or more of the following:
    • Advocacy
    • Branding
    • Career Building
    • Communications Planning
    • Crisis Communications
    • Digital Communications
    • Diversity
    • Employee Communications
    • Ethics
    • Financial Communications
    • Leadership and Management
    • Measurement and ROI
    • Media Relations
    • Multicultural Communications
    • Public Affairs/Government
    • Reputation Management
    • Research
    • Social Media
    • Strategic Planning
  • Presenter’s name (Limit of three speakers for a panel)
  • Presenter’s bio
  • Presenter contact information
  • Two speaking references from the past two years, including contact information.
