The Strive Group, on behalf of its client, is recruiting for an experienced Production Coordinator. Only candidates with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related field and two of experience in professional work environment required. Work experience may be substituted for education.

The Production Coordinator serves as an “Air Traffic Controller” of sorts. He/she will be responsible for coordinating many aspects of production, purchasing, and execution of collateral and broadcast projects on behalf of different management personnel. The list below highlights the position’s responsibilities which are most valuable to the organization:

  • Proactively manages the flow of information between two producers. This involves knowing what projects and tasks are being done, need to be done, have not yet been done, , and pro-actively communicating status updates to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Provide production specifications for print ad publications, print production assistance on collateral projects and broadcast production while maintaining internal project deadlines and timely
  • Research and provide sourcing information for production materials and talent, acquire photos and video footage for projects, and provide costs associated with each so budget estimate is accurate and reasonable.
  • Perform administrative support and data entry for the Production Director and Broadcast Production Director and manage, with supreme accuracy, the daily production dashboard shared with the production team, manage production legalities and ensuring each step is filed in the project

Based on these critical responsibilities, one can easily see this job is not for the meek and/or won’t be a good fit for someone who doesn’t have a strong work ethic matched with excellent organizational skills. In addition, qualified candidates will need strong time management, creative, written and oral communication, and research competencies. Moreover, he/she will need demonstrated confidence and poise, be creatively resourceful and outgoing.
